Roasted vegetables and our own tomato sauce over pasta
1 Jar Surowiec Farm tomato basil sauce
1 package your favorite pasta (we use gluten free)
1 package Surowiec Farm hot Italian pork sausage
1 medium onion (from Surowiec Farm)
2 cups frozen bell peppers (from Surowiec Farm when in season and frozen ahead of time)
1 cup frozen roma tomatoes (from Surowiec Farm when in season and frozen ahead of time)
Sautee the sausage until browned. Thaw the frozen peppers and tomatoes (in cool water), squeeze some of the extra moisture out. Sautee in olive oil with chopped up onion until translucent or slightly browned. Add to cooked sausage and contents of sauce, heat sauce through. Serve over pasta.
Scrub beets to remove thin skin, peel carrots and trim brussel sprouts. Cut beets and carrots into sticks and halve or quarter the sprouts. Sautee in olive oil or coconut oil until crisp/tender and slightly browned. Serve as a side with pasta.
